Geosciences play a crucial role in exploration, production, and monitoring of geothermal energy. Ongoing geothermal projects exploiting geoscience technologies for geothermal energy applications have posed many scientific questions that need answers from both academic and industrial perspectives. We are soliciting abstracts on geoscience technologies applied to all types of geothermal energy (e.g., direct use, hydrothermal, enhanced geothermal systems, and superhot geothermal system) for resource exploration, reservoir characterization, and monitoring. We are particularly interested in applications of innovative technologies for geothermal energy. The geoscience techniques include, but are not limited to, geophysical (e.g. active seismic, passive/induced seismic, gravity, ERT, EM/MT, InSAR, etc.), geochemical, geomechanical, hydrological, and geological applications.
