The 2026 World Geothermal Congress will take place June 8–11 in Calgary, Canada, hosted jointly by the International Geothermal Association (IGA) and Geothermal Canada. Held every three years, the Congress is one of the largest global gatherings for the geothermal community, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, engineers, and organizations from around the world.

The 2026 Congress will be held at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre and will feature technical sessions, workshops, exhibits, and international collaboration focused on geothermal resource development, technology advancement, and sustainable energy deployment. As a premier global event, it serves as a key forum for sharing progress, innovations, and pathways for expanding geothermal energy worldwide.
