The Energy & Geoscience Institute announces Dr. Kristie McLin as Director of Research and Science and new Principal Investigator of the Utah FORGE project, succeeding Dr. Joseph Moore.
The Department of Energy and the University of Utah are committed to publicizing and improving basic knowledge of geothermal energy and EGS technologies. Educational materials are being developed and distributed for K-12 and university-level education, classroom activities, and science fairs, and professional development training is available through short courses. The outreach program is also responsible for maintaining and improving the already strong community support from the residents, businesses, and government agencies that are based in and around Milford and in Beaver County.
